Drama written by Antonio Muñoz de Mesa and co-directed with Julián Fuentes Reta. It tackles Spain's real-life stolen-babies scandal of the 1960s–1990s through the story of Luz, who bursts into a doctor's home searching for her biological mother and unleashes a cascade of family secrets. Cast: Asunción Balaguer (Olvido), Carlos Álvarez-Novoa, Ruth Gabriel and Liberto Rabal — his stage debut, Balaguer's grandson —. Dramaturgical heir to Ibsen's 'The Wild Duck', Sophocles' 'Oedipus Rex' and Mouawad's 'Incendies'.

La Visita / Policy / Abuse

Translated into English as Policy by Rutgers University professor emerita Phyllis Zatlin, and staged in an extended version as Abuse at Thalia Spanish Theatre, New York. Produced across three U.S. states. English-language world premiere at the Rogue Theater of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin (November 2014), with revivals in 2015. The full text was published in The Mercurian: A Theatrical Translation Review (Vol. 5, Issue 3, Spring 2015). In 2016, California State University San Marcos produced the U.S. West Coast premiere in a bilingual format: Policy in English at the campus Black Box Theatre and La Visita in Spanish at the California Center for the Arts in Escondido. The extended New York version, Abuse/Abuso, produced by Thalia Spanish Theatre in 2014–2015, won the HOLA Award for Outstanding Achievement in Playwriting, the Gilberto Zaldívar Award for Outstanding Dramatic Production, and the New York Latin Critics Circle's Best Playtext of the Year.

(San Sebastián) during the D'Feria festival; toured across Spain and reached Paraguay in 2008.
